As a labor union negotiator for the FNV Thomas is responsible for organizing the workplace, structuring the contract talks and making sure workers are empowered. The only way workers can change their lives is by starting with the realization that they themselves can make the changes they desire. From this realization further action can grow. Everybody has issues they would like to change at work, and with the labor union a worker can start changing these. Through struggle we can build solidarity, educate workers and build towards a stronger movement.
