2.Dh5 Festival - Utrecht 2026

Mask Up We Need You

Location Gallery (Moira)

Wolvenstraat 10
Utrecht

Self-described queer, nonbinary, femme, disabled writer, artist, and disability justice advocate Leah Lakshmi Piepzna-Samarasinha reminds us all that: “We won’t be able to survive climate change, the rise of fascism and white supremacy, and unending pandemics, we won’t be able to create the just future we all still hope will show up, without disability justice and disabled skills.” (The Future is Disabled, 2022)

Listen to your disabled comrades when we tell you that we are still living through a pandemic and that there are effective ways you can protect yourself and each other so we can continue to fight fascism and its interlocking systems of oppression. This workshop will debunk the most common covid myths and show you concrete ways to stay safe. If you are sceptical, curious, or slightly uncomfortable reading this description, this workshop is for you.

*All power point slides including references will be made available to all workshop participants
