Prepping Otherwise Manual

Prepping Otherwise Manual: In this workshop we will explore community prepping and try to collectively make a 'Prepping Otherwise' manual/zine. We will work from the problematic (militaristic, individualistic, Euro-centric...) 'Denk Vooruit' or 'thinking ahead' disaster-preparedness campaign booklet, produced and widely distributed by the Dutch government in 2025. We will discuss what is missing, wrong or problematic about the publication and use it as a jumping-off point to propose and map other types and timelines of disaster prepping that are collective, community-oriented and liberatory.
