Working and living towards a better future can be draining. When witnessing so much injustice, it becomes easy to throw ourselves into the fight and ignore the limits of our bodies or those of the groups we work and live in. We burn out: as individuals, or as a collective.
Stroomversnellers is developing a workshop to help anyone who wants to learn how to manage stress and prevent burnout. To do that, we must first recognize tension and name it. If naming it is not enough, we look for ways of regulating it. And if we keep encountering it, we look for ways to transform our practices. This holds for individuals as well as groups, and the two are closely interwoven.
This workshop will consist of two parts: in the first, we look at the individual level, in the second, the collective. The two parts are designed to be followed together, so we highly recommend attending both.
