In this workshop, several people and groups (including Patriarkraakt and Emancipator) come together who work on transforming masculinity norms leading to all kinds of harmful behavior like gender inequality,
boundary crossing behavior and fascism. We host an interactive conversation on how transforming masculinities helps preventing violent behaviors and politics, and how it offers hope in a darkening world.
When people who have internalized harmful masculinity start talking and changing together, they get to blossom, their environment becomes safer and more pleasant for women, queer people and other men, and
they get less attracted to violent, domination praxis and politics (including fascism). So how does this work work exactly? What change do people see? What conclusion can we draw from that on a political level? And how do we involve more people who've internalized masculinity in such change? Come hear and share about these things in this workshop that surely give you some hope in dark times. The session is open to anyone but, as always, we especially invite cis men to work on themselves through these sessions.
