Location PIP

Binckhorstlaan 36

Can a government formed by SYRIZA constitute an alternative to the European driven austerity policies and challenge the establishment? Where does the future of the movement lie under a left administration?

After 5 years of harsh austerity, a political change seems to be on the way in Greece. In the early elections of the 25th of January a left party is expected to get the majority.

At this point, can we expect a paradigm change or nothing at all? Activists of the Greek political group ReInform will discuss the extent to which a government formed by SYRIZA can constitute an alternative to the European driven austerity policies. Can it solve the humanitarian crisis in the country? And where does the future of the movement lie under a left administration? Should it support the government or pursue an anti-capitalist perspective?
